Obituary of Frank Joseph Gulan
Frank Joseph Gulan, 91, of Freehold Township died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Bartley Manor, Jackson Township. Mr. Gulan was born in Yonkers, N.Y. and had resided there before moving to Freehold Township 25 years ago. Mr. Gulan was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving as a medical technician. He was a custodian at the U.S. Post Office, Tuckahoe, N.Y. where he was employed for 19 years before his retirement in 1981. He was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374, Freehold Township. His wife, Ruth Jorger Gulan, died in 1989. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Rita S. and James Wilson, Yonkers, N.Y. and Dolores A. and Paul Pugsley, Freehold Township; four grandchildren, Lisa Petrie Nause and Margaret Petrie Nafz, and Christopher and Jennifer Pugsley; and a great grandson, Wyatt Nause Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 A.M. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Yonkers, N.Y. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374 services will be held on Sunday at 3:30 P.M.
