Obituary of Harriet Mary Vanslavie

Harriet Vanslavie, 94, of Freehold died August 26, 2015 at home. Mrs. Vanslavie was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Her husband, John Vanslavie, died on June 14, 2015. Surviving are three sons, John, Thomas and Richard Vanslavie and wife Margie; a daughter, Mary Lou Vanslavie and husband Gordan; her grandchildren, Leah Vanslavie, Nicholas Robinson, and Lilli Bowen; and her beloved friend Patricia White and guardian angel to Jack and Harriet. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. The interment will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
