Obituary of James A. Ray

James A. Ray, 86, of Freehold, died Wednesday, April 4, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. James A. Ray was born on December 26, 1920 to Mr. & Mrs. John Henry Ray in South Carolina. He was a resident of Freehold for many years and resided the last 6 years at the John L. Montgomery Care Center. He was predeceased by his wife Clarissa A. Smith-Ray. His memory is cherished by his daughters Charlette Y. Lewis of Jacksonville, Fl. And Andrea L. Smith of Alexandria, Va.; a son-in-law Rodney K. Lewis; grandchildren Shayla, Rodney Jr., and Jasmine Lewis of Jacksonville, Fl., as well as a host of family and friends. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, will be handling arrangements. Mr. Ray will be cremated and interned with his wife in Jacksonville, Flordia.
