Obituary of Michael N. Bavaro

Michael N. Bavaro, 68, of Jackson Township died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Bavaro was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold before moving to Jackson Township 12 years ago. Mr. Bavaro was a school bus driver for the Freehold Township Schools before his retirement one year ago. Prior to that he owned and operated Mike and Ritchie’s Firewood, Freehold Township. He was a great father and father-in-law and deeply loved by his grandchildren. He will never be forgotten. Surviving are four sons, Raymond Bavaro, Greenwich, Connecticut, Nick Bavaro and his wife, Mary Ellen, Farmingdale, Michael Bavaro, Freehold, and Dan Bavaro and his wife, Anna Maria, Millstone Township; his mother, Angela Bavaro, Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers, Frank Bavaro, Staten Island, N.Y. and Dominick Bavaro, Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Gay Rivas, Staten Island, N.Y.; and five grandchildren; Angela, Nicole, Antonio, Lola, and Niko. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
