Obituary of Theresa Conway

Theresa Conway, 81, of Freehold Township passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Conway was born in Woodside, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold Township for the past 53 years. Mrs. Conway was a lunch room aide for the Freehold Township Schools where she loved being surrounded by children. Prior to that she was employed at The Equitable, New York City. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a Girl Scout leader for over 15 years. Terry was a very warm and understanding person especially when it came to her family. She touched the lives of many and had a loving and strong heart. She will be sorely missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her. Surviving are her husband, John J. Conway; two sons, Michael J. Conway and wife Haydee and Thomas J. Conway and wife Holly; four daughters, Barbara Ann Conway Myers and husband Russell, Eileen C. Higgins and husband Gregory, Marilyn Conway, and Jeanne Schneider and husband Michael; and eight grandchildren, Sarah E. and Matthew P. Myers, Emily C. and James M. Higgins, Jack T. Conway, and Ryan M., Colin T., and Brandon P. Schneider. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
