Obituary of Frances Becker Malsbury
Frances Becker Malsbury, 67, of Howell Township died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Malsbury was born in Neptune Township. She was a graduate of Monmouth Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Long Branch in 1962. She was a registered nurse at Monmouth Medical Center and Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital, Marlboro Township. Mrs. Malsbury was the owner and operator of Cherry Lane Kennels, Howell Township since 1963. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a member of the church’s handbell choir. She was a former member of the Howell Township Republican County Committee and was recently appointed as Alternate Member No. 4 to the Howell Township Preservation Task Force. She was a member of the American Kennel Club and the National Dog Groomers’ Association. Surviving are her husband, Howard F. Malsbury; two daughters, Amy Malsbury Nowak, and Mary Adriene Malsbury, both of Freehold; a son-in-law Joseph C. Nowak, II; and two grandchildren, Mary Germaine Nowak and Joseph Malsbury Nowak. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Emley’s Hill Cemetery, Upper Freehold Township.
