Obituary of Grace Rose Mayerski
Grace Rose Teti Mayerski, 79, of Colts Neck Township died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at home. Mrs. Mayerski was born in Jersey City on May 16, 1927. She married John Mayerski on June 26, 1948 and moved to Freehold in 1949 and raised four children. Grace settled in Colts Neck and made her home there for 45 years. Grace leaves behind her devoted husband of 59 years and four children, Joseph Mayerski and his wife Katherine, Jackson Township, Deborah Grace Kulha, Lakewood, Cynthia Davison and her husband, Ernest, Beachwood, and John Mayerski Jr. and his wife Vickie, South Carolina. Grace also leaves behind nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a sister, Theresa Olivo, Ridgewood. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Emily Sue Davison. Grace was a communicant of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Colts Neck and was a member of the Martha Mary Guild of the church. She had served as Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court, Colts Neck. “Mother Grace” as she was lovingly called by her husband will always be with us. Grace was a loving homemaker, a devoted wife, and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her smiles lighted up everyone’s heart and will remain in all who loved her. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.. The interment will be held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
