Obituary of Florence Hanaway Croddick

Florence Hanaway Croddick, 87, of Freehold Township died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune Township. Mrs. Croddick was born in the Wickatunk section of Marlboro Township. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s R.C. Church, Marlboro Township. Her husband of 60 years, Eugene F. Croddick, died in 2002. Surviving are a son, John F. Croddick; four daughters, Jean Avery, Patricia Delatush, Mary Snyder, and Margaret Lempka; 16 grandchildren, Patti, John, Maggie, Juli, Maribeth, Kathleen, Billy, Erin, John Joe, Eugene, Flora, James, Timmy, Julia, Grace, and Mary; and 25 great grandchildren, Thomas, Larry, Mary Rose, Patrick, Madeline, Gavin, Jack, Abbey, Kailey, Lily, Trey, Bridget, Elle, Hanaway, Ryan, Connor, Dean, Mei, Andy, Kaylin, Emmett, Quinn, Virginia, Finley, and Ella. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s R.C. Church, 100 N. Main Street, Marlboro on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
