Obituary of Karen Koch
Karen Koch, 54, of Jackson Township died Friday, May 18, 2007 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She was born in Queens, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold and Brick before moving to Jackson Township 17 years ago. She was employed at Shop Rite of Freehold for 30 years. Karen was an avid gardener and loved to cook. Surviving are her husband, Theodore W. Koch; a daughter, Lara Koch, Silver Spring, Maryland; her mother-in-law, Gloria Koch; three brothers-in-law, Kenneth Koch and his wife Megan, Raymond Koch and his wife Nancy, and Edmund Koch and his wife, Patricia; a sister-in-law Kathleen Wall and her husband Edward; and nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Allison, Benjamin, Matthew, Michael, and Nicole Koch and Kelly and Klaire Wall. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Memorial donations to the Jackson First Aid Squad would be appreciated.
