Obituary of Allan L. Voorhees

Allan L. “Al” Voorhees, 68, of Spotswood died Friday, June 8, 2007 at home. He was born in Neptune Township and was raised in Marlboro Township. He resided in Freehold before moving to Spotswood ten years ago. He was a heavy equipment operator for Fenwick Construction, Matawan before his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Mary Anne Linneman Voorhees; a son, Allan T. Voorhees and his wife Darlene, Farmingdale; a sister, Bette Mancini De Marco and her husband Ronald DeMarco; his former wife, Betty Voorhees; three grandchildren, Stephen and Jessica Voorhees and Sean Ellison; and two nieces, Deanne Snodgrass and Tina Corrado. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m.
