Obituary of Harry Aurin Hunt
Harry Aurin Hunt, 89, of Freehold Township died Thursday, July 14, 2007 at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Bernards Township. Mr. Hunt was born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania and had resided in Mount Vernon, Maine and Bergenfield before moving to Freehold Township in 1979. He was a manager and salesman for Sears Roebuck Company, Hackensack before his retirement. Mr. Hunt was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 74 of Freehold. Mr. Hunt was a cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Old Tennent Presbyterian Church, Tennent. His wife, Marjorie Jean Hunt, died in 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Martha Aurean Van Dalinda and her husband Ronald Michael Van Dalinda, Paterson and Mary Jean Hunt, Freehold Township; a sister, Marion Wagner, Pennsylvania; and two granddaughters, Marjorie Jean Van Dalinda and Susan Ann Moran and her husband George, all of Morristown. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 12:30 p.m. followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
