Obituary of Alice Lillian Leibel

Alice Lillian Leibel, 93, of Hendersonville, N.C., formerly of Freehold, died peacefully Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Pardee Care Center, Flat Rock, N.C. She was born December 19, 1913 in Polk City, Iowa, the daughter of William and Maude McClean. She was the widow of Robert Leibel who died in 1972. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Evelyn. She is survived by a son George Leibel and wife Karen of Manalapan Township; two daughters Grace Leibel Niemann and husband Frank of Eatontown, and Karen Rhoads and husband Ray of Hendersonville, N.C.; a sister, Winifred Harmon, Sherman Oaks, California; six grandchildren; Deborah Coleman and family of Wells, Maine; Robin Keegan Wolf and family of Prosper, Texas; Douglas Keegan and family of Sanford, Maine; Dan Leibel and family of Bath, Pennsylvania; Jessica and husband of Jackson Township and Kate Leibel of Jackson Township; seven great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold.
