Obituary of Pauline Beresford
Pauline Beresford, 67, of Marlboro Township died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Beresford was born in Salford, Manchester, England daughter of Irene and William Clarke. Pauline immigrated to the United States in 1967 and resided in Hazlet before moving to Marlboro Township in 1974. Mrs. Beresford was a teacher's aide at the Tapp School, Tinton Falls before her retirement. She was a former president of the Cosmopolitan Association in the mid 70's. Surviving are two sons, Andrew S. Beresford, Upper Deerfield and David M. Beresford and his wife, Deborah, Marlboro Township; two brothers and a sister, Howard and Barry Clarke and Rowen White, all of the United Kingdom; and five grandchildren, Jonathan, William, Michael, Christina Marie, and Heather. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held during the visiting hours at 8:00 p.m.
