Shock followed by grief when I learnt of the death of Pao-Chien. He was one of the first people I knew at CACA Mid-Jersey Chinese School when my daughter started to attend that school in September, 1998. He was then the vice principal and one semester later became the principal of our school. He was always personable and encouraged me to join the administrative team to help out. Later on his family had moved away from East Brunswick but he kept in touch with the school and showed up many times to attend our events. He also was active in local Chinese communities. The last time he was in our school was in October of last year as a judge for our annual speech contest and encouraged our youth to get involved in local and national public services. The last time I met him was at a NYU Business School conference in spring of 2007. On behalf of CACA Mid-Jersey Chinese School, I want to express our saddest sorrow of his untimely passing and offer our deepest condolences to his family.

I am sure that his passing will be mourned by all alumni of NTUT around the world. My wife and I want to express our heart-felt condolences and deepest sympathy to you, Mrs. Di, and to members of you family. Reitseng Lin and Lidih Lee
