Obituary of Reba S. Wargo

Reba S. Wargo, 91, of Freehold died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jackson Township. Mrs. Wargo was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident. She was formerly employed at the A.& M. Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold. Mrs. Wargo was a member of the First Baptist Church, Freehold. She was the widow of Steve Wargo who died in 1986. A daughter, Sue Smas, died in 1997. Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Sally and Larry Weber, Freehold; a son-in-law, Steve Smas, Johnson City, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Steve Smas and his wife, Jennifer, Haverhill, N.H., Scott Smas and his wife, Jodi, Tempe, Arizona, Sean Smas and his wife, Meghan, Bradford, Vermont, Julie Merrill and her husband Cody, Winston-Salem, N.C., and Christopher Weber, Freehold; five great grandchildren, Rebacca Smas, New Hampshire, Katharine Smas, Arizona, Trevor Smas, Vermont, and Wake and Ryanne Merrill, both of North Carolina. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. William L. Frederickson, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Freehold officiating. The interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
