Obituary of Ana Maria Rivera
Ana Maria Rivera, 79, of Freehold died Monday, August 13, 2007 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills. Mrs. Rivera was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico and had resided in New York City before moving to Freehold 22 years ago. Mrs. Rivera was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold and was a member of the Ladies of Perpetual Help of St. Cecelia’s Church, New York City. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are her loyal husband Manuel Rivera; a son, Manuel Rivera, Jr.; a daughter, Sandra Rivera and her husband Peter Myette; a brother, Sendo Roman; two sisters, Paquita Escalera and Juanita Santiago; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
