Obituary of Sarah E. Young

Sarah E. Young, 87, of Jackson Township died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Bartley Healthcare Center, Jackson Township. She was born in Old Bridge Township and had resided there before moving to Jackson Township 12 years ago. She was predeceased by a son, Alfred Young, a daughter, Bertha Guinn, and a grandson, Bert Berendt. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Ellen and Berthold Berendt, Manalapan Township; five grandchildren, Linda Kelich, Tina Mann, John Juiliano, Don Terney, and David Guinn; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion, Leroy Wilson. A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from noon to 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
