Obituary of Hermann D. Fauhl

Hermann D. Fauhl, 83, of Manalapan Township died Monday, August 20, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Fauhl was born in Jersey City and had resided there before moving to Manalapan Township in 1965. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving the in 3rd Armored Division in the European Theater of Operations. He was a custodial supervisor for the Manalapan-Englishtown Schools for 26 years before his retirement. His wife, Helen L. Fauhl died in 2001. Surviving are a son, Allan Turner, Battle Mountain, Nevada; two daughters, Brigitte Barr, Bakersfield, California and Norma Turner, North Bergen; and five grandchildren, Lexie, Justin, Rick, Warren, and Corrina Turner. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
