Obituary of John T. Maguire

John “Jack” T. Maguire Sr., of Lambertville died on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Rolling Hills Nursing Home, Lebanon. Born in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and lived in Little Egg Harbor prior to moving to Lambertville one and a half years ago. John was a member of the Jersey Shore Bird Club, Toms River, and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Jack was employed for 35 years as a cemetery maintenance worker at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington before his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife Josephine in 2002 and a son Patrick in 2001. He is survived by a son, John T. Maguire Jr. and his partner William Zilligen, New Hope , Pennsylvania, and one sister, Ellie Mc Goldrick, Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church, 450 Radio Rd, Little Egg Harbor on Monday at 11:00 A.M. with a viewing starting at 10:00 A.M.. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Stafford Twp. In lieu of flowers, a donation of your choice would be appreciated. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
