Obituary of Anna Elizabeth Leger

Anna Elizabeth Leger, 73, of Manchester Township died Monday, September 17, 2007 at home. Mrs. Leger was born in Bronx, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold Township and New Egypt before moving to Manchester Township two weeks ago. Mrs. Leger was an operator at Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson Township before her retirement. She was a former member of the Millstone Township First Aid Squad. She was the widow of Edward J. Leger who died in 1987. She was also predeceased by two sons, Edward J. Leger, Jr. who died in 1964 and Jeremiah Leger who died in 2000. Surviving are a son, John C. Leger, West Palm Beach, Florida; two daughters, JoAnn Marie Leger, Howell Township and Jacqueline Renee Leger, Manchester Township; a brother, Howard Morris, California; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. The viewing will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro Township.
