Obituary of Jennie Mount

Jennie Mount, 90, of Freehold died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at home. Mrs. Mount was born in Warwick, N.Y. and had resided in Englishtown until moving to Freehold Township in 1968. She resided there for 35 years before moving to her daughter’s home in Freehold four years ago. Mrs. Mount was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, Freehold Township. Mrs. Mount was a member of the Englishtown Fire Department Auxiliary and the Rosary Altar Society of Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church, Englishtown. She was the widow of Bertram J. Mount who died in 1983. Surviving are a son, Harry Mount, Freehold; three daughters, Janet McAvoy, Shallotte, N.C., Carolyn Sheridan, Winchester, Virginia, and Catherine Fariello, with whom she lived; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
