Obituary of Trevor Andrew Summers
Trevor Andrew Summers, 35, of Manalapan Township died on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born on December 24, 1971 in New York City and resided his entire life in Manalapan Township. The Angel of Silence sealed the lips of our most precious and loving son. His soul winged its flight from this world of sin, sorrow, and pain to a place of eternal rest. Trevor attended St. Thomas the Apostle School, Old Bridge Township and was an altar boy at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown. He attended St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel Township where he excelled in sports. He was a recipient of a full scholarship as a student athlete at Delaware State University. Trevor was predeceased by his brother, Michael, and his grandparents, Alexander and Alma Carter and Augustus and Pauline Summers. Trevor leaves to cherish fond and everlasting memories his parents, Dr. Anthony and Blanche Summers; his companion of many years, Tyshahn Neal and daughter Lexys Neal; his aunt and uncles, Jacqueline and Hugh Snow, Alexander Carter, III and Daniel Carter, and cousins Jennifer and Andrew Hildebrand and Stephanie and Robert Wiggins. Trevor was a loving and dedicated son; his family meant everything to him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The viewing will be held at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, 3 Waterworks Road, Freehold on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
