Obituary of Beatrice Phyllis Wolfbein Shteir

Beatrice Phyllis Wolfbein Shteir, 87, of Nashville, Tennessee died Saturday, December 1, 2007 in Nashville. Mrs. Shteir was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and resided in the Smithburg section of Freehold Township before moving to Nashville seven years ago. She was a bookkeeper for Landau Publishing Company, New York and worked in the Smithburg General Store. Mrs. Shteir was a member of the Freehold Chapter of Hadassah and the New York City Mandolin Orchestra. She was the widow of Leon Shteir who died in 1983. Surviving are a son, Mark Kenneth Shteir; two daughters, Laurie Evin Shteir and Lynn Shteir Fuchs; a brother, and two grandchildren, Eric Shteir and Matthew Shteir Fuchs. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday at noon followed by interment at Workmens Circle Cemetery, Freehold.
