Obituary of Frances Emma Searby

Frances Emma Searby, 86, of Freehold died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at home. Mrs. Searby was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident. She was a food service supervisor at the John L. Montgomery Medical Home, Freehold Township before her retirement in 1983. Mrs. Searby was a lifelong communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick G. Searby who died in 1996; her parents, Mary and William McLaughlin, two brothers, Edward and Albert McLaughlin, and a sister, Doris Striebel. Surviving are her children, Frederick G. Searby, Jr. and his wife, Diane and Colleen Hoitela and her husband, Carl; three grandchildren, Christopher Searby and his wife, Renee, Lauren Curcio, and Cheryl Shutzer; five great grandchildren, Sherry, Fred, Gina, Alton, and Jake; and a great great grandson, Alex. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
