Obituary of Charles T. Hupfer

Charles T. Hupfer, 80, of Freehold Township died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mr. Hupfer was born in New York City and had resided in Dallas, Texas and Ridgefield Park before moving to Freehold Township 28 years ago. Mr. Hupfer was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a branch manager for Bristol Myers, Edison Township before his retirement in 1990. Mr. Hupfer was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, Freehold Township. He was predeceased by a grandson, William. Surviving are his wife, Doris Devlin Hupfer; three sons, Charles W. Hupfer, Bound Brook, Gary Hupfer, Eatontown, and Glenn Hupfer, Highland Village, Texas; a daughter, Jeanne Nauerz, Freehold Township; and six grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Robyn, Kyle, Cameron, and Hannah. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Vitas Hospice, 1 Meridian Road, Suite 5, Eatontown, NJ 07724 would be appreciated.
