Obituary of Mary Audrey Bright

Mary Audrey Bright, 81, of Manchester Township, NJ died Monday, December 24, 2007 at the Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Toms River, NJ. Mrs. Bright was born in Jersey City and had resided in Morganville, NJ before moving to Manchester 22 years ago. Mrs. Bright was a telephone operator for Bell Atlantic, Freehold, NJ before her retirement. She was a member of Telecom Pioneers. She was a former member of the Claremont Presbyterian Church, Jersey City, NJ and the Lyndhurst Presbyterian Church, Lyndhurst, NJ Surviving are two daughters, Joyce A. Zimmerman, Freehold Township, and Thelma E. Daley and her husband, Graham, Walden, N.Y.; a brother, Donald Dougherty, Rancho Cordova, California; a sister, Lois Helleland, Whiting; four grandchildren, Karin, Linda, Kristina, and Kathy; and two great grandchildren, Christian and Patrick. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, NJ on Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 99 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 would be appreciated.
