Obituary of Anna D. Christ

Anna D. Christ, 92 of Manalapan Township died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, New York she lived in Merrick, New York prior to moving to Manalapan Township 22 years ago. Mrs. Christ was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Old Bridge, and was a member of the Altar Guild and Women’s Club of the Church. She was also a member of the Deborah Hospital Auxiliary. Her husband, Walter O. Christ, died in 1982. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Walter F. and Laurel Christ, Freehold Township; a grandson, Travis Michael Christ; and two nieces, Christine Yaris and Roseann Malone. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Sunday, January 6, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 3139 County Road 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
