Obituary of Alexander J. Grzybowski

Alexander J. Grzybowski, 88, of Monroe Township died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Cranbury Center, Monroe Township. Mr. Grzybowski was born in Newark and had resided in Tuckerton before moving to Monroe Township two years ago.He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific theater of operations. Mr. Grzybowski was a banker for Fidelity Union Trust Company, Newark before his retirement 25 years ago. His wife, Stella Grosinski Grzybowski, died in 1982. Surviving are three daughters, Marlene Klena, East Windsor Township, Laraine McConagly and her husband Richard, Monroe Township, and Nancy Yorke and her husband, Thomas, Toms River; four grandchildren, John Klena, Jr. and his wife Lori, Robby Klena and his wife Shari, Melissa Serrano and her husband George, and Thomas Yorke and his girlfriend, Deanna; and a great granddaughter, Alison Eileen Serrano. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia. Memorial donations to National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave/Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136-1494 would be appreciated.
