Obituary of Martin J. Wagner

Martin J. Wagner, 91, of Jackson Township died Monday, January 14, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Wagner was born in Elizabeth and had resided in Freehold Township before moving to Jackson Township in 1991. He was a furnace operator for Brockway Glass Company, Freehold Township before his retirement. Prior to that he was employed at the former A. & M. Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold. Mr. Wagner attended the Crossroads Baptist Church, Lakehurst; participated in a weekly Bible study at Maple Glen, Jackson Township; and enjoyed bowling and golf. His first wife, Marjorie Eileen Wagner, died in 1979. His second wife, Doris Pulaski Reiff Wagner, died in 1989.Surviving are a son, Thomas E. Wagner, Lakewood; two stepchildren, Marilyn Poling and Lloyd Reiff, Jr.; two grandsons, Thomas M. and Robert R. Wagner; two great granddaughters, Kiara Jayne and Jadyn Kyla Wagner; six step grandchildren; and 11 step great grandchildren.Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
