Obituary of Charles E. Suydam

Charles E. Suydam, 76, of Marlboro Township died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at home. Mr. Suydam was born in Old Bridge Township and had resided in the Marlboro Township area all of his life. He was a carpenter with Carpenters Local No. 1006, Milltown for 57 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Elwood and Edna Boyce Suydam, a daughter, Kelly Suydam, and a brother, Marvin Suydam. Surviving are his wife, Jean Conover Suydam; six daughters, Gail Finnerty and her husband Dennis, Pine Bush, N.Y., Patti Pluhowski and her husband Robert, Old Bridge Township, Carol Koch and her husband George, Manalapan Township, Sandy Carlsen and her husband Craig, Monroe Township, Kathi Nilsen, and her husband Doug, Millstone Township, and Lori Suydam, Eatontown; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Robertsville Bible Church, 11 Church Road, Morganville on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
