Dear John and family: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved Valerie. Although I never met her, from what I have read on-line here and from what John has written, she sounds like a wonderful happy person with unending courage. I know that she has endured alot and can now be free of this pain. She will live on in everyone that she touched, including from what it sounds like, many furry ones! Another wonderful attribute that I only just found out about. I'm sure there are so many more. You and your family will be in my thouhgts and prayers. With Kindest Regards, Jill Hillman

It has been a very long time since I lived in New Jersy. Valerie was the love of my life for almost three years during high school. I only recently found out about the suffering she has endured for so many years. It breaks my heart to know this. One thing that I am sure of is that she is in the Lord's hands now where she will not suffer anymore. My prayers go out to her and her family.

I remember the first day I met Valerie at Monmouth County Board of Social Services, in April 1987. We both started on the same day and became instant friends. Every day she told me she was going to quit because she hated her job. Well, she stayed for 19 years while I moved to Florida in 1990. We laughed about that all of the time. Valerie was a great friend and a whole lot of fun. She will surely be missed. John, you were a great husband to Valerie and she loved you very much. Please except my deepest heartfelt sympathy in the loss of my dear friend, Valerie.
