Obituary of Jerry Wilson

Jerry Wilson, 70, of Asbury Park died January 31, 2008 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. He was born on January 8, 1938 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Willie C. and Evelyn Billingsley. He was the eldest of eight children and was predeceased by his youngest sister, Regina Billingsley. He was employed by the Earle Asphalt Company, Farmingdale for 33 years before his retirement in 2003. He leaves to mourn his loss, four daughters, Patricia Edgerton, Carol and Evelyn Wilson, and Juanita Calhoun; two sons, Gary Edgerton and Terry Wilson; 20 grandchildren; four brothers, Willie Billingsley, Jr., Benjamin Billingsley, Willie Frank Billingsley, and Leo Billingsley; two sisters, Flossie DeBraux and Annie Billingsley; and a host of nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Bibleway Church of Christ, 1928 Greenwood Ave, Neptune on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will be held at noon at the church followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
