Obituary of Diane F. McBreen
Diane F. McBreen, 70, of Camden, Delaware died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. Mrs. McBreen was born in Staten Island, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold for many years and in Toms River for ten years before moving to Camden three years ago. She was the parish secretary for St. Peter’s Church, Point Pleasant Beach before her retirement. Mrs. McBreen was a former communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold; a former member of the St. Rose of Lima School P.T.A. and the Monmouth-Ocean Regional P.T.A., and a member of the Homeowners Association of Barclay Farms, Camden, Delaware. Her husband, Joseph J. McBreen, died in 1997. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph J., Jr. and Donna L. McBreen, Browns Mills; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Richard Hess, Kill Devil Hills, N.C., and Kelley and Joseph Napoli, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; her mother, Julia Taylor, and two brothers and a sister, Warren and Douglas Taylor and Judith Hearn, all of Staten Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Joseph J. McBreen, III, Gretchen Taylor Hess, and Gianna, Timothy, and Joseph Napoli; and a great grandson, Cameron McBreen. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
