Obituary of Leocadia Janowski
Leocadia Janowski, 78, of Freehold died Friday, February 22, 2008 at home. Mrs. Janowski was born in Bayonne and had resided in Marlboro Township for over 50 years before moving to Freehold. Mrs. Janowski and her husband, Eugene J. Janowski who died in 2006, were the owners of Fireside Tavern, Marlboro Township. Mrs. Janowski was formerly employed at the Singer Company, Elizabeth. She was predeceased by a sister Florence Serafin. Surviving are two sons, Robert Janowski, Freehold and Edward Janowski and his wife Wendy, Howell Township; a brother, Edward Urbanik, Staten Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Mary Krzymowski, Millstone Township and Theresa Mydosh, Clearwater, Florida; and two grandchildren, Austin and Hunter. Relatives and friends are invited to a brief service of prayer and remembrance at the Colts Neck Reformed Church, 72 Highway 537 West, Colts Neck on Monday at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Chris VandeBunte officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Colts Neck Reformed Church, PO Box 57, Colts Neck, NJ 07722. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
