Obituary of Arlene M. Hankinson

Arlene Matus Hankinson, 70 of the Morganville section of Marlboro Township died Friday, February 22, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Neptune Township, she lived in Howell Township and Freehold prior to moving to Morganville 48 years ago. Mrs. Hankinson was a secretary for Dental Disposables International, Marlboro Township for ten years, retiring one year ago. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Morganville; and a member of the Marlboro Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for the past 48 years. Arlene had a bubbly, optimistic personality that touched everyone who knew her. Surviving are her husband, Thomas H. Hankinson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald J. and Mari-Lynn Hankinson, Millstone Township, and Robert D. and Lisa Hankinson, Monroe, New York; and four grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Heather, Dylan and Zachary Hankinson. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
