Obituary of Alvie Tyler

Alvie Tyler, 75, of Manalapan Township died on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Daughter of the Lafayette and Leva Heath, she was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia. Surviving are four children, Derryl Heath and her husband Freddie, Wadley, Georgia; Sharon Rogers and her husband Clarence, Kevin Tyler and his wife Linda, Jacksonville, Florida and Jacqueline Simmons and her husband Donald, Englishtown; two brothers, Jimmy Heath, Louisville, Georgia, and Linzie Heath, Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Vivian Jones, Rochester, N.Y.; two aunts, Essie Mae Stevens and Mattie Hannah, Wadley, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, 3 Waterworks Road, Freehold on Saturday from 9:00 to 10 a.m. followed by funeral services at the church at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
