Obituary of Peter Adamo

Peter Adamo, 60, of Forked River died Monday, March 3, 2008 at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was born in Sicily and had resided in Manalapan Township before moving to Forked River three years ago. Mr. Adamo was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a technician for Verizon, New York City before his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Weber Adamo; four sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Christine and Christopher and Nicole, all of Jackson Township, Anthony and Jennifer, Easton, Pennsylvania, and P.J. and Valeria, East Windsor Township; a sister, Catherine Coraci, New Hyde Park, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Ava, Francesco, and Julia. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
