Obituary of Anna Marazita
Anna Marazita, 92, of Freehold died Monday, March 10, 2008 at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Neptune Township. Mrs. Marazita was born in Passaic and had resided in Howell Township before moving to Freehold 73 years ago. Mrs. Marazita was employer at the 3M Company, Freehold Township for 25 years before her retirement. Prior to that she was a seamstress for Eisner’s Clothing, Freehold. Mrs. Marazita was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold; a volunteer for Open Door of Freehold for 21 years; a past president and life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374 Auxiliary; a member of Court St. Rose of Lima No. 737, Catholic Daughters of the Americas; and a life member of the Deborah Hospital Auxiliary. She was the widow of Joseph Anthony Marazita who died in 1975. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Graga, George Grega, John Grega and Steve Graga and sisters, Tillie Pfeiffer and Pauline Curley. Surviving are a sister, Mary Vasseur, Kentucky; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
