Obituary of Giachino Trotta

Giachino “Jack” Trotta, 66, of Jackson Township died Monday, March 24, 2008 in Roseland. He was born in Newark and had resided in Englishtown before moving to Jackson Township 39 years ago. He was a driver for Elite Limousine, East Hanover. Prior to that he was employed at the former Washington Forge Company, Englishtown for over 30 before the firm closed in 1993. His wife, Nancy Trotta, died in 2002. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Katherine Trotta, New Egypt; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jill and Carol Trotta, both of Jackson Township and Barbara and Joseph Linke, Brick Township; and five grandchildren, Lisa Trotta, Jackson Township, Michael and Andrew Trotta, New Egypt, and Amber and Autumn Linke, Brick Township. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, New Egypt on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson Township.
