Obituary of Sebastiano Graceffo

Sebastiano P. “Benny” Graceffo, 88, of Freehold went to his resting place on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at home after a long illness. He was born in Jersey City and had resided in Freehold for the past 48 years. Mr. Graceffo was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. He was a truck driver for Howell Trucking, Secaucus for 30 years. After that he was employed for ten years at the U.S. Post Office, Freehold. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Catherine Chiarello Graceffo; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill and Anne Graceffo, Lincroft, and Dennis Graceffo, at home; a daughter and son-in-law Denise and Jim O’Prandy, Howell Township; and four loving grandchildren, Melissa, Craig, Michelle, and Christopher. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
