Obituary of Doris E. Rapant

Doris E. Rapant, 70, of Monroe Township died Friday, March 28, 20078 at home. She was born in Englishtown and had resided in Monroe Township for most of her life. She was a secretary for the County of Monmouth, Freehold before her retirement. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul J. and Eugenia Wasesky Rapant and a nephew, Terence Ayers. Surviving are her husband, Balbir Singh; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Rapant, Millstone Township and Thomas and Brenda Rapant, Quarryville, Pennsylvania; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Richard Ayers, Millstone Township; several uncles and aunts; five nieces and three nephews, and six great nieces and nephews on her side of the family; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, five nieces and four nephews on her husband’s side of the family. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Hightstown at 10:30 a.m. The interment will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, Allentown.
