Obituary of Carla Katherine Lucas

Carla Katherine Lucas, 69, of Manahawkin, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 5th, 2008. Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1938, Carla immigrated to the US in 1958, settling in New York City. Carla was a past president of the Freehold Regional Hospital Auxiliary which contributed to building of the CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. After retiring in 2003, she moved to Manahawkin. She is predeceased by her mother & father, Meta and Anton Reif; as well as her ex-husband Raymond. Carla is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Janice Lescrinier, Derry, New Hampshire, Eric Lescrinier, Maple Shade, Stephen & Patricia Lescrinier, Howell Township, and Brian and Helga Lescrinier, Manahawkin; and eight beloved grandchildren, Christa, Conner, Danielle, Eric, Janine, Jessica, Stephanie and Taylor. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Tuesday, 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held during the calling hours.
