Obituary of Carol Perdek
Carol Perdek, 74, of The Villages, Howell Township died Friday, April 11, 2008 at home. Mrs. Perdek was born in Woburn, Massachusetts and had resided in Manalapan and Freehold before moving to The Villages in 2002.
Mrs. Perdek was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold.
She was employed at The Peddie School, Hightstown for 20 years before her retirement in 1999.
She was a graduate of Our Lady of the Valley High School, Orange. She was an avid bridge and mahjongg player.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward S. Perdek who died in 2004; her parents, John O’Donnell and Margaret O’Donnell Koerner, two brothers, John and Thomas O’Donnell; and a sister, Mildred O’Donnell.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Walter Walling, Cincinnati, Ohio and Janice and Steve Coffey, Durham, N.C.; three grandchildren, Paul, John, and Carolyn Coffey, Durham, N.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Hugh and Kaye O’Donnell, Rockaway; two sisters, Peggy Hawkins, Vernon, Alabama and Betsy Woods, New Port Richey, Florida; nephew, Bill McKenna, Neptune; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Memorial donations to St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
