Obituary of Helen Pederson

Helen Pederson, 70, of Lakewood died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Pederson was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in Marlboro Township before moving to Lakewood nine years ago. Mrs. Pederson was a purchasing agent for the County of Monmouth, Freehold where she was employed for ten years before her retirement. She was a former communicant of St. Gabriel’s Church, Marlboro Township. She was predeceased by a brother, John E. Loggie. Surviving are her husband, James E. Pederson; a sister-in-law, Mary Loggie; three nephews and two nieces, John Loggie, Edward Loggie, and his wife Kelly, Michael Loggie, Janine Resta and her husband Kenny, and Lauren Loggie; a great niece, Nicole; and great nephews, Kenneth, Connor, and Sean. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, 549 Route 520, Marlboro Township on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum.
