Obituary of Margaraet Elizabeth Conover

Margaret “Molly” Elizabeth Conover, 78, passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center after a short term illness. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Percy Robert Conover who passed away in May, 1967. The Conover family has been local residents for over 60 years. Mrs. Conover was employed as a Monmouth County Correctional Officer at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold Township for 25 years retiring in 1994. She was predeceased by a daughter, Priscilla Lee Kegler in 1995. She is survived by three daughters and a son, Alice Margaret Conover, Carlsbad, California, Emma Joyce Conover-Gee and Juanita Marie Conover, both of Freehold, and Anthony Vernon Conover, Freehold; a sister, Lily Jackson, Eatontown; ten grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Steele officiating. The interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
