Obituary of Clara Lee Oliver

Clara Lee Oliver, 83, of Freehold died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Oliver was born in Buckingham, Virginia and had resided in Asbury Park before moving to Freehold seven years ago. Mrs. Oliver was a nurse’ aide at St. Mary’s Hospital, Passaic before her retirement. She was a beloved member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Freehold and a former member of the United Fellowship Church, Asbury Park. Surviving are a son, James Oliver, three daughters, Deborah, Marcia, and Karen; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Visiting will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church, 28 First Street Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Vestor L. Dock officiating. The interment will be held at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
