Obituary of Margaret Anna Rugarber

Margaret Anna Rugarber, 97, of Howell Township died June 21, 2008 at Applewood Estates, Freehold Township in the presence of her family and daughter-in-law. Margaret was born in Trenton and had lived there for 93 years before moving to Howell Township in 2004. She attended school through the 6th grade, worked as a hairdresser in Trenton, as an inspector in a silk mill in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, and, after raising her children, as a press operator in the West Trenton General Motors plant. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Henry J. Rugarber in 2000 and two great grandchildren in 2002. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia A. Fuschetto, Howell Township; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph H. Rugarber, Howell Township and Raymond R. Rugarber and his wife, Ellen E., Freehold Township; eight grandchildren, James Rugarber and his wife, Lisa, Levittown, Pennsylvania, Theresa and her husband, Greg Stading, Ellisville, Missouri, Cathy and her husband Greg Carr, Wildwood, Missouri, Paul Rugarber and his wife, Cindy, Jackson Township, Russell Fuschetto and his wife Christine, Beachwood, Dr. Nancy Tamburello and her husband David DeNicola, Middletown Township; Donna Fuschetto, Brick Township, and David Fuschetto, Monroe Township; and 18 great grandchildren. Visiting will be held on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold. The interment will be private.
