Obituary of Willie Ivory
Willie Frank Ivory, Sr., 74, of Freehold died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at his home. He served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army Signal Corp receiving an honorable discharge in January 1962.
Mr. Ivory was born in Union Springs, Alabama and lived in the Freehold area for over fifty years. He was last employed by the Millstone Township Department of Public Works.
Surviving are his five children; Michael, Birmingham, Alabama, Lydia, Freehold, Debra, Lakewood; Willie, Jr., Howell, and Cheryl, Freehold; two daughters-in-law, Mara Bryant-Ivory and Jeanette Ivory; a son-in-law Rodney Randolph; a sister, Lessie Bell Harrison, Ft. Davis, Alabama; an uncle, Willie James Hooks, Union Springs, Alabama; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2008. Funeral services will be held immediately following starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold.
