My heart goes out too you as I have just heard of the tragedy. I've only spoken with Barbara over the phone several times last month, but never got a chance to meet her in person. During the conversation she was very welcoming and warm, which stuck with me and made me decide to lease one of the offices' we spoke about. When I called the office today to give my decision and set up an appointment, I expected to hear "Hi this is Barbara", but didn't. As I sit here trying to type this, I am mourning with you of your loss. I will be praying for your healing through this. Thank you for sharing her with so many potential clients. She will be missed.

Who didn’t want a mom like Barbara Foley? Most people have parties and maybe their mom would be there, probably not. If she was, you’d make the polite conversation and move on. Not Barbara Foley, she was always there & sometimes you’d rush past Angela & Laurie just to see her first, to get in on some of what made her the coolest mom on the block with hottest clothes (no one worked shoulder pads like her). Actually you didn’t have to want a mom like Barbara because she would be that for you if you needed it & you didn’t even have to ask. She was one of those rare people who could see exactly who you are good and bad, love you for all of it and never let you take yourself too seriously. She fired me (Eddie) once and made me feel really good about it. It’s the only time I’ve ever laughed while getting fired. The only thing that has any shot of getting us through this, is knowing that we were so lucky to have loved her, to have been loved by her. Pop, Laurie, Angela, Joe- we love you with you no restrictions love us
