Obituary of Benjamin Irizarry

Benjamin Irizarry, 73 of Freehold died Monday, August 11, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico, he lived in Freehold for the past 36 years. Mr. Irizarry was an ice cream man for Pied Piper Ice Cream, Freehold. Surviving are three sons, Morgan Quinones, Manalapan Township, Osvaldo Irizarry, Manalapan Township, and Benjamin Irizarry, Brick Township; four brothers, Guadalupe and Jesus Corniel Irizarry, both of Freehold, Virgilio Irizarry, Penuelas, Puerto Rico, and Alcides Irizarry, Brick Township; a sister, Himilce Diaz, South Toms River; and four grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday, August 15, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
